Monthly Marketing Update
- June 2016

Good Afternoon,

Hope you are managing the heat and helping our seniors do the same. We are partnering with Center 50+ on a Senior Resource Fair. Stay tuned for more information and registration links coming next month. We have had a growing attendance at the monthly Senior Service Network meeting each month with about 50-60 in attendance. If you have not attended yet, you should! A big thank you to the Salem Health case managers for joining us each month for networking- we look forward to seeing you this month June 22 (details below.)

Let us know if you have a recommendation for someone we should connect with for the next editions. Your referrals are very much appreciated.

Nuggets of Knowledge

"Learn to smile at every situation. See it as an opportunity to test your strength and ability."- Joe Brown

This quote hung on my grandmother's wall and I read it often growing up. Smiling doesn’t necessarily change what is going on around you, but it does change the way you look at difficult situations. Instead of thinking “why-me”, try to be optimistic. You can choose to make the best of any situation. If you don't like something change it; if you can't change it, change the way you think about it. When in tough circumstances, you get creative. You get resourceful. Smile, embrace the challenge and see what you are capable of.
